- The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has started preparations for the budget of FY 2021–22. The budget is set to focus on how to help the country’s economy recover from the pandemic and move towards a sustainable economy.
- The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene by NPR 2. The petrol is priced at NPR 112 per litre while diesel and kerosene will cost NPR 95 per litre.
- Youth and Small Entrepreneur Self-Employment Fund announced to expedite the tasks of self-employment promotion at the local levels by running partnership-based co-financing investment programs.
- Greenlife Hydropower Limited issued an initial public offering (IPO) it offered a total of 3,496,400 units of shares worth NPR 34 million.
- Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) has determined the 5G frequency, paving the way for the expansion of the 5G service.
- A total of 70 women tourism entrepreneurs have been provided a digital training session on the optimization of technology in their business so as to promote their business and make tourism sector more technology-friendly in Pokhara.
